We took your feedback and suggestions (all 8,000 of them) and have been working on improvements to the site. Try the improvements now Here's a list of your top suggestions and what we've done about them: "I'd like to be able to search across the UK." You'll now be able to search nationally across all cities in the UK, whether you're looking for a car or a job. "I'd like to be able to find something in my neighbourhood." It's easier to find things or services locally in your neighbourhood. Just enter your area name or postcode in the search bar. "Don't default the site to London. Let me choose my city." It's much easier to choose your city or location on the homepage. Select the city you live in and the next time you visit Gumtree, your Gumtree homepage will default to your city of choice. "Make Gumtree easier to use across all web browsers." We've made some changes to fonts and colours to make it much easier for you. Thanks for all your ideas.
